The evolution and usage adoption of the technology will follow the below adoption and utility phases. Each phase depends on additional third-party technologies and its adoption can emerge faster than predicted. It answers the fundamental questions :
What is the direction of the phase?
Why the backup is relevant?
What are the main functionalities offered to users or how the world around technology could look like?
0 to 3 years.
The Memory Cradle is the first adoption phase, where the focus of the technology is to collect as easily as possible the memories and offer day-to-day usage functionalities to the users in order to boost and simplify the adoption at large scale. The outcome of the phase will be that each user will have a certain % of their episodic memories indexed and backed up in their meta chain ledgers, ready to feed further input technologies and modules.
The phase is characterized by the adoption of the memory wallet application that enriches the user experience around memories and offers a totally new way to collect, store, index, and backup slices of our brain and episodic long-term memories.

collecting memories and back them up with parallels of data captured from any device.
processing raw data in real-time and transforming them into associated memories
indexing and storing memories and the data sources that define them
building the initial memory outline of a person and teach the system what is relevant for a user 'Childhood learning'

3 to 10 years
The Memory Fork is the superior layer of technology that will work above the foundation set in the Memory Cradle. The focus of the phase is to start capturing enriched data and brain signals and index them together with other data sources. It introduces an interactive hardware wearable component that aims to understand and map the brain's electrical signals in relation to cognitive memories and provide feedback to the user in real-time.
Is the continuity and enhancement of the technology developed in the Memory Cradle phase that makes the accessibility and interactability with past memories way superior.
There are 2 main utilities of the technology to be introduced in this phase
Enhanced multimedia and entertainment capabilities to capture and process the world around in a more profound way.

10 to 15 years
The Collective Synapse phase is characterized by the emergence of a collective brain entity containing cross-user memories that will allow the exploration of new technologies of navigation, sharing, and interaction with other people's experiences on different levels of detail. The Collective synapse is similar to a metaverse of memories that blend with each other and inherit on time, location, and specific topics all the existing memories of the people that collected them. Virtual world games will be developed and first-person alike virtual experiences to navigate will emerge.
15 to 30+ years
New Hermitage is the ultimate destination for the human mind. At this moment in time, the technology will be mature enough to feed biological systems. The inner self and long-term memories and the entire brain can be replicated to biological storage and we can consider the moment of re-writing a human from one body to another body. In this phase, the biological barriers of our bodies will be overcome and the era of human 2.0 will start. A new generation of mind augmentation will start, humans will be able to use cloud brains to augment their ideas and search for similarities. Creativity and innovation will reach a new level as never seen before. Humanity will have all the means to overcome the most bothering challenges and though will face new types of challenges and social dilemmas.
